Our Story

Join Us in Making a Difference

The Move Initiative is a UK based charity dedicated to empowering young people to adopt healthier lifestyles.

By focusing on regular physical activity and balanced nutrition, we aim to instill lifelong habits that improve well-being and reduce the burden on the NHS and other health services around the world.

"Every child deserves to lead active, healthy and happy lives"

We will work with schools, parents, teachers and community leaders to create a movement that makes health and fitness accessible to all.

Our approach is built on collaboration, transparency and measurable impact, ensuring that our efforts lead to lasting change. Our goal? To positively impact the lives of 1,000,000 young people by 2035.

Together, we can inspire a generation to move, thrive and lead healthier lives.

The Move Initiative was founded by parents Jonathan and Anna Lowe on this simple belief. Based on their shared desire to positively impact the lives of young people.

Seeing the rise in childhood obesity and inactivity, they knew that their focus should be on developing long-term solutions to motivate children and young people to become more active.

The Move Initiative movement is part of their P5 Community Work to inspire a new generation to move more, eat better, and thrive.
Through education, community engagement, and meaningful collaboration.
